Metabolic Inflexibility
That’s a fancy term that you might have heard of. Bascially, it means that your body isn’t good at burning fat or glucose for fuel.

The thing is…metabolic inflexibility causes many more problems than just tummy fat or jiggly arms.

That’s exactly what was happening to me. It was why I was tired all day, especially after meals. And it was why I’d get grumpy if I didn’t eat every few hours.
Are These 3 Myths Keeping You Stuck?
Myth #1: You MUST eat every few hours…
You might feel like this, but the science says otherwise. You’re better off eating only 1-2 times per day and not snacking, so that your body can re-learn how to burn stored fat as fuel.
Myth #2: Fat is unhealthy for you…
This is actually true for some processed fats. But if you eat the right fats, that will help you lose weight and also get more micronutrients (vitamins).
Myth #3: A Keto diet will feel hard and tiring…
Honestly, the first day or 2 can feel tough. But after that, you’ll usually feel better than you ever have – more energy, more weight loss, fewer aches and pains, and much less hunger and cravings.
Keto diets have been around for over a hundred years. They were initially used to treat children with epilepsy.
But it’s only recently that researchers and doctors have discovered all the other benefits of a keto diet…
Still, the best part for me (and Kate and Jeremy say the same) is this…
A Keto diet is easy after the first couple days.
Being on a Keto diet doesn’t feel like a diet. I don’t feel like I’m working at it. I stop wanting junk food, I have more energy all day, and it never feels like a struggle.
For me, that’s what is most important. I want to be healthy and to lose weight, but I don’t want to be miserable in the process.
Speaking of being miserable, I’ve done a lot of different diets. And most diets work a little bit – if you can stick to them.
But 4 recent studies (1)(2)(3)(4) have suggested that, over a period of a year, keto dieters lose an extra 23 pounds compared to other diets.
In other words, keto dieters lose 23 pounds plus what they would have lost on a different diet.
Obviously, those are average numbers over hundreds of people. But in those studies – many other things also improved.
People felt more energetic and happier, and their blood test results (cholesterol, blood pressure, etc.) were much better.
I’m not a doctor and don’t pretend to be, but I can tell you that in my own life, I’ve gotten results that are very similar. However, not everybody gets the same results, and here’s why…
